Plot: After taking a bullet to the head, Salander is under close supervision in a hospital and is set to face trial for attempted murder on her eventual release. With the help of journalist Mikael Blomkvist and his researchers at Millennium magazine, Salander must prove her innocence. In doing this she plays against powerful enemies and her own past.
Stricken
Plot: Stijn and Carmen have everything: They are young, successful and wealthy. They live a perfect live in Amsterdam and move to Amstelveen when they have a child, Luna. Then the world collapses as Carmen is diagnosed with breast cancer. Going in and out of the hospital, first chemotherapy and later radiation therapy, throw up, the whole cancer package is there. Stijn has trouble dealing with it and starts living a second life. By day he’s all but support to Carmen, by night he goes out, drinks and has lots of sex with lots of woman. Carmen has always known that Stijn is not the faithful type, but after her breast is amputated she gets less confident and finds herself troubling over his unfaithfulness. For Stijn it has always been just sex, until he meets Roos. During the cancer period he sees her more and more. Then a miracle, Carmen is better. She asks of Stijn to quit cheating and to work things out between them. He promises her that. They go on a holiday together where Carmen finds out that Roos is still trying to contact Stijn, and she breaks down. She wants a divorce. But stuck on the other side of the world on paradise with each other brings them closer than the have been in a long time, and the are heading to a happily ever after. But faith strikes again and a week after that Carmen gets sick again. The cancer has spread and she has only several months left. With chemo they can prolong that any but not much, she will not be getting better from this. Stijn can’t handle this and escapes into the arms of Roos again. He keeps supporting Carmen to the hospital and through everything, but his double life gets busier until he breaks. After getting in a terrible fight with Carmen and disappointing her and their daughter, in a discotheque he can’t think about anything else. He gets in his car, under influence and causes several accidents. Nobody gets hurt except him having some cuts and bruises and he had to spend the night in jail. That is the moment he sees what he is doing. He goes home and decides to take care of Carmen and Luna for as long as it takes. His second life is over. Carmen is very sick and they move to Amsterdam again. Surrounded by family and friends she gets through her last weeks. When she wets herself in bed, she decides is enough. She only will get worse, and she is sick of it. She says goodbye to all her loved ones, including Luna, which is very emotional. The day after her doctor commits euthanasia. Stijn is with her in these last minutes and the love is evident. When Carmen is passed away, it takes some time, she stronger than they thought, he calls Roos and asks her to be at the funeral. In the end Stijn and Luna are in Australia, opening the box Carmen has made for Luna.

But on this alien planet the media has tagged spacemen as brain-eating, zombie-creating monsters, causing Baker to run for his life and into Lem’s house. Now it’s up to the green native to get the clumsy astronaut back to his spaceship before military dictator General Grawl and mad scientist Professor Kipple manage to exterminate the Earthly visitor.
New Moon
Plot: After Bella recovers from the vampire attack that almost claimed her life, she looks to celebrate her birthday with Edward and his family. However, a minor accident during the festivities results in Bella’s blood being shed, a sight that proves too intense for the Cullens, who decide to leave the town of Forks, Washington for Bella and Edward’s sake. Initially heartbroken, Bella finds a form of comfort in reckless living, as well as an even-closer friendship with Jacob Black. Danger in different forms awaits.
Cell 211
Plot: Juan Oliver wants to make a good impression at his new job as a prison officer and reports to work a day early, leaving his pregnant wife, Elena, at home. His destiny is forever changed by this fateful decision, as during his tour of the prison, an accident occurs that knocks him unconscious. He is rushed to the empty but visibly haunted walls of cell 211. As this diversion unfolds, inmates of the high security cell block strategically break free and hijack the penitentiary. Aware of the violence that is to come, the prison officers flee, leaving Juan stranded and unconscious in the heart of the riot. When Juan awakens, he immediately takes stock of the situation; in order to survive, he must pretend to be a prisoner. Juan develops a dialogue with the violent leader of the riot, Badass, and the two begin a partnership, Badass fully believing that Juan is a new inmate. Negotiations go smoothly until the rioters take three ETA (the militant Basque separatist organization) prisoners hostage. When this hits the news, it triggers a stream of prison riots throughout the country as well as demonstrations in the Basque Country. Juan quickly realizes that he is on his own as the situation becomes more politicized and the government gets involved, afraid of potential ramifications in the Basque community. As the drama heightens, unexpected shifts in character both within and without the prison occur.
A Christmas Carol
Plot: Miser Ebenezer Scrooge is awakened on Christmas Eve by spirits who reveal to him his own miserable existence, what opportunities he wasted in his youth, his current cruelties, and the dire fate that awaits him if he does not change his ways. Scrooge is faced with his own story of growing bitterness and meanness, and must decide what his own future will hold: death or redemption.
Mr. Nobody
Plot: In the year 2092, one hundred eighteen year old Nemo is recounting his life story to a reporter. He is less than clear, often times thinking that he is only thirty-four years of age. But his story becomes more confusing after he does focus on the fact of his current real age. He tells of his life at three primary points in his life: at age nine (when his parents divorced), age sixteen and age thirty-four. The confusing aspect of the story is that he tells of alternate life paths, often changing course with the flick of a decision at each of those ages. One life path has him ultimately married to Elise, a depressed woman who never got over the unrequited love she had for a guy named Stefano when she was a teenager and who asked Nemo to swear that when she died he would sprinkle her ashes on Mars. A second life path has him married to Jean. Their life is one of luxury but one also of utter boredom. And a third life path has him in a torrid romance with his step-sister Anna, the two who, as adults, would search for each other after having been torn apart as teenagers. These life paths also intersect, with the three women sometimes entering the alternate life in some other aspect. Are any of these lives real or are they all a figment of his imagination?
The Greatest
Plot: Teenagers Rose and Bennett Brewer were in love, and then a car crash claimed Bennett’s life. He left behind a grieving mother, father and younger brother, and Rose was left all alone. She has no family to turn to for support, so when she finds out she’s pregnant, she winds up at the Brewer’s door. She needs their help, and although they can’t quite admit it, they each need her so they can begin to heal.
